Hi. I’m Nat — mum to three amazing children with a wide range of academic abilities, including SEN. Navigating the SEN system has been one of the hardest journeys of my life. Getting the right advice, support, and recognition shouldn’t be a battle, yet for so many families it is. The system is stretched, slow, and often unresponsive, leaving parents exhausted and children underserved. I’ve watched too many friends and loved ones fight the same fight, and it’s why I’m deeply committed to pushing for an Education system that works for every child.

My drive for change is strengthened by my TQUK Level 2 certification in Bullying Awareness and Young People, which has equipped me to better support those in crisis. Over recent years, I’ve seen a worrying rise in anti‑social behaviour among young people, paired with an increase in unacceptable conduct from some school staff. Together, these issues create a toxic environment that harms students, parents, and teachers alike.

I helped create Voices for the Vulnerable because I refuse to stand by while the next generation suffers. Schools should be more than academic institutions — they should be safe, compassionate communities where children learn respect, resilience, and the life skills they need to thrive. Every child deserves dignity, understanding, and a system that lifts them up rather than wears them down.
